Prior to your PRF treatment, it is recommended to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil) for about one week if medically safe. Alcohol should also be avoided for 24 hours prior to your appointment. You should arrive well-hydrated, as this support a healthy blood draw.
During your visit, a small amount of blood is gently drawn and spun in a centrifuge to isolate your platelet-rich fibrin. the concentrated PRF is then precisely injected into target areas to restore volume, improve skin quality, and stimulate natural collagen production. The procedure is typically well tolerated, performed in-office, and requires minimal downtime.
